My Story

I greet you in the name of Jesus! I feel so blessed to be part of the feeding program from Living Water and receive your support. My name is Meyrin Esmeralda Paredes Callejas. My current age is 15 years old. I am so happy to tell you that my family and I are attending the Catholic Church; we like to attend. Sadly, my dad passed away about two years. My mom does the housework, and sometimes, she goes to wash clothes when people call her. My sister Roxana is working in Antigua´s town and she is helping my mom to supply the expenses. By the grace of God, my mom, siblings and I are doing well.

I am so excited because I could return to school this year and I am now repeating 6^th grade. On weekends, I work in a bakery to get some income and help my family a little bit. Now, I am busy with my studies or work, and I like to share a good time with my family. I am so thankful to my sister Roxana because she has been struggling alongside my mom to provide for us since my dad is not with us. She is a hard-working girl and I would like you to pray for her life, health and for the good person she is. The hardest thing I have faced so far has been my dad´s death, and I was devastated. However, God has been my consolation and strength. Jesus has been so good with me and has lifted me from the darkness. I would like you to know that my sister, Roxana, shared this information with an evangelism teacher to update you about me. Thank you for blessing my life; I pray the Lord blesses you in everything you do!
