Hello! My full name is Josue Elias Coj Gomez and I am so happy to share with you a little bit about my life. I am 14 years old and I am in good health. I am pleased to tell you that I am in sixth grade. I like both cold and hot weather because each one has its own charm. Besides studying, I am dedicated to helping my father to work in the field. He makes a living as a day laborer and farmer to support our family. We usually travel to the south coast and work in a coffee farm from November to February in order to earn an extra income. While we work, my mother keeps busy doing the chores and taking care of my siblings, especially Walter, who is a boy with special needs. I have six siblings and they are all enrolled at LW-Adopt A Child. I have attended the feeding program for many years, which has been a great blessing since I can receive delicious food and medicine for free.
Almost my whole family is doing well, but my mother has suffered from body pain. She self-medicates because she does not have enough resources to pay for medical attention. My whole family and I continue attending a Christian Church called The Good Pastor-Source of Life because our siblings in Christ are watching out for our spiritual life. I am pleased to tell you that one of my sisters has assurance of being admitted into heaven because she received Jesus in her heart as her Lord and Savior. Sister Sandra (a member of the LW staff) recently encouraged her to not give up and continue preparing herself for that happy moment. I will leave you now, but I want you to know that I appreciate that you took the time to read my information. Until next time!
Huge hugs,
Josue Elias Coj Gomez
