My Story

Hello! I greet you with this letter and I hope you are blessed by our Lord Jesus. I want to share some news about my family and me in this opportunity. I am Anderson Adrian Ruiz Toj and I am 11 years old. This year I am in 5th. grade. I continue receiving face-to-face classes every day. Currently, my father is making an effort to support me at school in spite of the fact that he does not have a stable job. Because school supplies are so expensive, it is hard for him to cover my expenses. My dream is to become a truck driver and to help my father with home expenses. I speak Spanish, but I would like to learn the Maya quiche language and have the best communication with other people in the village. Also, I would like to learn English; I think it is a very interesting language. I enjoy Christmas time because we eat “tamales” (a typical dish). I like to drink Coca-Cola. For my birthday, I enjoy eating delicious cake and receiving gifts. I like to play soccer. Thank God, my family is in good health, but I ask for your prayers because my mother suffers from ovarian cysts, but she is under medical treatment.

My mother`s name is Floricelda Toj Gonzalez and she is 27 years old. She continues doing chores at home and taking care of the family. My father`s name is Victor Manuel Ruiz Tzoc and he is 31 years old. At the moment, he continues making tiles and bricks three days per week. We are attending Full Gospel Church twice a week. Thank you to the Living Water evangelism team who encouraged us to continue seeking God and trust in him. My family is grateful to LW because we have been blessed in different ways with meals, medical and dental attention, and spiritual support also, I also feel so happy when I receive the Christmas gift.  As humble family, groceries are our priority needs.
