My Story

Hello! I thank God for allowing me to be part of the feeding program from Living Water; I am so blessed. My name is Kendra Siboney Martinez Martinez. I recently turned 16 years old. My family and I attend God is Good Christian Church. Jesus is my savior. As a family, we suffered the loss of some of our relatives, and we still miss them. We are sure they are with our Lord; we pray for the strength to accept that they are not with us anymore. My mom stays busy with the housework and taking care of my brother and me. My dad continues selling medicines and he supplies our home needs. I would like you include my family in your prayers, especially my parents who have health issues. My dad suffers from high blood pressure and receives medical care at “IGSS” (Guatemalan Social security institute). My mom is diabetic, and fortunately, she is taking medicines. Thankfully, my brother and I are doing well.

I am in eighth grade this year. I have a friend named Zoe; we have been friends since childhood. We like to eat together, and we learned to do manicures; we have a lot of fun. I get on very well with my father; he loves and supports me a lot. We are confident in each other. My maternal grandma passed away last year, and I miss her a lot because we were very close. I thank God for comforting my heart. I would like you to know that my mom, Marcia, shared this information with an evangelism teacher to update you about me. Thank you for reading my letter.
