My Story

Hello! It is a pleasure to greet you, and I hope you are in good health. I am your sponsored child Jorge Daniel Asig Pop, and I am currently 14 years old. This year I was repeating 3rd grade. I felt it was better to receive classes at school because I was able to learn more, although I only attend on Sundays. It was not easy for my aunt to pay the school expenses since she has her own family. I would like to be a mechanic when I grow up. I enjoy the cold weather, so my favorite season is winter. I would like to have the opportunity to learn English although these courses are expensive. My favorite thing to do on my birthday is to eat cake. I like to play football and I love drinking Big Cola. I am in good health.

About my family. Currently, I am under the care of my aunt Elvira Asig Pop; she is 14 years old. Her job consists of cleaning houses. When my aunt goes out to work, my grandmother takes care of me. As you know, my father passed away many years ago, and my mother remains in prison. I ask for your prayers for God to give peace to my mother where she is. By grace of God my whole family are doing well. I attend a Christian church on Sunday. I felt so happy to receive the Evangelism teachers who shared the gospel with us an encouraged to continue in the ways of the Lord. God bless each one!
