My Story

Hello! It such a blessing to write this letter and tell you a little bit about my life. My full name is Martin Adolfo Suar Jimon and I thank you so much for taking the time to read this information. I am 12 years old and I am so happy because my parents gave me the opportunity to come back to school. I am in third grade. When I stay home, I usually help my father with the chores. He makes a living as a day laborer and farmer. He also earns a little extra income by making wooden stages. I like receiving bible classes at the feeding program because I can learn new verses. My parents enrolled me there because one of our relatives told them that children received many blessings like food and medicine. Since I started to go there, my family has also received spiritual guidance.

I tell you that sister Sandra (a member of the LW staff) encouraged us to keep going in our faith. We attend the Charismatic Renewal Church because we recognize that God is worthy to praise since he gave us eternal life through his son Jesus. We accepted him as our savior a while ago. By the grace of the Lord, my whole family and I are healthy. I tell you that my mother keeps busy taking care of our family and does her best to contribute to the expenses. She weaves typical clothes and raises chickens to sell. To end this letter, I tell you that I prefer cold rather than hot weather because it is more comfortable. I would like to be part of the worship ministry of my church. I always look for the opportunity to talk with the musicians to ask for their advice on how to become a musician. Until next time!
