My Story

I hope this letter finds you happy and healthy. I am so glad to have you as my sponsor! I greet you in the name of Jesus. This is Shelly Elvira Morente Simaj. I turn 14 years old in December. I am a fifth-grade student. I have the privilege to be part of the feeding program for seven years. What I like best is singing praises. I am a healthy girl. I help my mother do the chores at home. I love cold weather because I take the opportunity to drink a coffee. I would like to sing at church.

Currently, I live with my mother and siblings. My father abandoned my family and he does not have any relationship nor does he support us. My mother goes out to wash clothes for others while we are at school. She is in good health, thank God. I am proud of my mother because, despite everything, she is always looking out for us. My mother is grateful to LW for all the love and support her children have received. My family attends a Methodist Church. Evangelism teachers shared the gospel and encouraged us to continue trusting in God. I would like to ask for your prayers for God to bless my family with health. May God bless each one who makes the feeding program possible.
