My Story

Hello! This is Jefferson David Yat De La Cruz, and I am happy to tell you about my family and me. I am 10 years old, and I am in 4^th grade this year; I am learning more now that I am attending school in person every day. My father’s name is Camilo, and he is 49 years old. He works as a mason helper and supports the family. My mother’s name is Estela, and she is 41 years old. She is a housewife and sells chicken meat to improve the home income. They both are in good health. We have hens and turkeys as domestic animals, and we sell them when we are in need of money. We also grow corn and black beans, but they are for our consumption. We are a needy family, and our greatest need is groceries.

I want to tell you a little more about my dreams and personal tastes. I want to continue with my studies and become a professional person. Also, it would be incredible to learn English language. I like eating cake and receiving presents for my birthday. I prefer soccer as a sport, and New Year as a celebration because my birthday is close to that date. My favorite drinks are natural juices and typical hot drinks like “mosh and Incaparina” (they are made from oats, corn and soy). Living Water and you are very important for me because you are helping many children. I attend Prince of Peace Church with my family on Monday and Wednesday, and we are assured of our Salvation.
