My Story

First, I praise the Lord for allowing me to greet you through this letter. I am Luis Angel, and I hope this update finds you having a blessed day. I live with my mother and older brother Tomas. We are members of the Assembly of God Church and attend our services three times weekly. My father is Jose Panjoy, and his age is 58. He has another family, and because of that, he does not live with us or help us economically. Thankfully, we count on the financial support of my oldest siblings. My brother Tomas also works hard to contribute to his income at home by working as a mason’s helper. My mother is Maria Panjoj, and she is 40 years old. She keeps busy at home by doing the chores and raising domestic animals. We have turkeys, pigs, and chickens to get an extra income from them. We need food supplies, especially corn. Therefore, we work hard by growing corn for our consumption. Almost my whole family and I are healthy. My mother suffers from gastritis and takes medicines to treat her condition. However, she has not felt better, so I would like to count on your prayers for her.

I am eleven years old and I am a third-grade student again. I prefer to receive face-to-face classes because I can understand my lessons better than studying at home with school guides. Covering my school expenses has been hard for my family, so I hope to finish my education to work and help my family economically. I would like to make a living as a driver when I am older. The English language catches my attention a lot, so I would like to learn how to speak it. My favorite holiday is Christmas because I enjoy burning firecrackers. I love drinking pineapple soda and my favorite sport is soccer. Visiting lovely places and eating a delicious cake are things that I love doing the most, especially if it is my birthday. Now, I want you to know that LW has been a meaningful project for my family and me. We have received material and spiritual support, so we are deeply grateful. A teacher of the evangelism team spoke with my mother to collect this information for you. Thank you so much for reading my news! I say goodbye to you for now, but I hope to hear from you soon.

Kind regards,

Luis Angel Manuel Panjoj Panjoj
