My Story

Hello! I am Rafael Josue Gomez Garcia, and I am writing this letter with much love just for you. I want to tell you how I am doing this year. Thankfully, I am in good health, and I am 15 years old now. I am attending school on Saturdays, and I am in 7th grade again. I continue doing errands for others during the week. I love playing football in my free time. My favorite food is fried chicken. I have been blessed with grocery bags through Living Water; we are really grateful for this. I like helping others, so I would like to become part of LW Collaborators team in the future. I enjoy Christmas celebration at the program because I receive a special present.

I live with my family in a place called “Lourdes I”. My mother is a housewife, and she takes care of her grandchildren and me. I would like to ask you to pray for her since she is having health issues. As you know, she suffers from diabetes and takes medicine to control it. Now, she also has cataracts in her left eye and has not visited a specialist because we do not have the resources to cover it, and she feels afraid of what the doctor will tell her. My sister, Ana Lucia, works as a cashier, and she helps us a little financially.

As a family we are attending Peniel Church. LW Evangelism team has motivated us to continue trusting in God and we are grateful for their words; they have also prayed for us. My mother helped me to give this information to an Evangelism teacher, and I hope you find it interesting. May God bless you!

With much love

Rafael Josue Gomez Garcia
