My Story

Hello! My name is Ramazan. I am 14 years old and my birthday is on July. I am doing well and my health is good. My favorite color is blue, and my future dream is to become police officer. I go to secondary school in eighth grade and enjoy the time that I spend at school with my classmates and friends. My favorite subject I like to study best is Math. After the lessons, my friends and I stay at school longer so we can play football at the sport field. After I return from school and eat lunch, I help my family with all that I can offer to do for them. I study afterwards and spend the remaining free time playing games online while using the mobile phone of my parents. During the summer, when I was not at school, I worked together with my parents in the vegetable green house we have in our fields. I still go and help them during the weekends, and during the days I am out from school. My family and I live in a village that belongs to the community of Prrenjas. We go to this town on weekends to do shopping. Our family consists of five members, who are my parents, two older sisters and myself. We own land and in a small portion we planted vegetables. Actually we cover them with plastic so that they are not damaged from hit or rain, and this way, our land has turned to be something like a green house of vegetables. We can sell some vegetables in the market to gain profit out of dealing with this job, but the amount has been very less. My father has been challenged to go and work in Greece for a season and there he usually gets hired to collect olives from trees. My mother is doing her best to work in the land besides being busy with things around the house, that have to do with housekeeping. My sisters and I attend the program regularly and like to learn about the Lord in the Bible classes of the church. After their classes we have lots of different activities and have lots of fun there, with the other friends that we have from the program. Our family receives three food packages constantly from the program and we are blessed with this kind of help given to us.
