My Story

I greet you in the name of Jesus hoping you are doing fine. This is Cristian Alexander Morente Luis and I am 13 years old. I am blessed to be sharing with you a little about my family and me. Nowadays, we are starting to attend the God House Church, every Monday and Wednesday. LW evangelism team shared the Gospel with us, and now I am sure of my salvation in Jesus Christ. My mother is Maria Luis Castro and she is 36 years old. She continues with her small tortillas business. Moreover, she grows lemons and other fruits for our consumption. My father is Juan Morente Tiño and he is 38 years old.  Nowadays, he continues living and working in the United States as a construction machine driver and he provides for our needs. Thankfully, my family is in good health. Sometimes my mother has pain in her lungs, but fortunately, she visited the Dr. and now she is taking medicine.

I am so happy because this year I am in 5th. Grade, and I enjoy receiving classes face-to-face and spending time with my classmates. Thank God my parents are doing their best effort to support my siblings and me at school. Nowadays, school supplies are expensive, but they are covering the expenses. I love Christmas time because we eat “tamales” and we light fireworks.  I like to drink pineapple juice.  My dream is to become a doctor, and also, I would like to learn English; I think this is a very interesting language.  On my birthday, I like for my friends to come to visit me and celebrate with my family.  Among sports, I like to play soccer. Thanks to you and to Living Water because we have been blessed in our lives for instance, with the meals, medical and dental attention, and spiritual support. As a family, our priority needs are groceries.  I hope you enjoy reading my letter.  May God bless you everywhere you are!
