My Story

Hello! It is a wonderful day to send my greetings with much love. This is Nelson Adolfo Basilio Mendez Castro, and I will turn 11 years old in July of this year. My family and I attend Prince of Peace Church and go on Monday. We appreciate the encouraging words from LW staff to continue attending church; we trust our Salvation in Jesus Christ. My father is Basilio, and he is 46 years old. He is a merchant and sells veggies in the local plaza all days of the week. My mother is Maria, and she is 36 years old. Like my father, she also is a merchant and helps him with the selling. We grow corn for selling and get income. In addition, we raise hens and pigs, and we sell them if we have some need. Thanks to God, we are healthy.

I am in 3^rd grade, and I receive classes at school; my studies are going well. Fortunately, my parents can support me at school. Thankfully, my parents can support me at school. At the moment, I have not decided what I want to be when I am older. However, being a doctor or teacher catches my attention. Playing football is so much fun; it is my favorite sport. On my birthday, my family celebrates with me and gives me a gift if they can. They make me feel so special. I like the Christmas time because there are firecrackers everywhere, and I light some. My favorite drink is Pepsi cola. We are a humble family, and the greatest need in the home is food. To be part of the feeding program is a great blessing for me because I enjoy the meals when I go; thank you for your support through Living Water. Hoping you keeping well. Many and rich blessings!
