My Story

I greet you in the name of Jesus hoping you and yours are doing great! This is Maria Medalla Mendez Castro. I am 15 years old. I no longer attend school and I go to help my parents in the veggie sale. My father and mother are merchants and sell vegetables in the market all week to sustain our family. We raise and sell hens and pigs to get more income. My mother is suffering from nervous gastritis, but even though she is taking medicines, she does not feel good. It seems I am having nerve problems and I will visit the LW clinics soon to get a specific diagnosis and get medicines. Because of that, please pray for our health.

I thank God for allowing me to be part of the Living Water program and receive food and medicines for free; it is so helpful to me. Fried chicken is my favorite food from the program. I love to receive a Christmas gift in the feeding program every year, it makes me so happy. We are members of the Methodist Church; we all accepted Jesus into our hearts and my mother is a deaconess. Could you please include my family in your prayers for our well-being? This time, my older sister provided this information to the LW staff to share news about me.
