My Story

Hello! I hope my letter finds you well. I am Ana Maria Guadalupe, and I am happy to write you and tell you about my life. First let’s talk about my loved ones. My father’s name is Miguel, and he is in good health. He is 28 years old, and he works as a mechanic. My mother’s name is Juana, and she is in good health too. She is 29 years old, and she works hard at home. We have hens, pigs and two cows, and we sell them when we are in need of money. We do not have crops because we do not have a piece of land for it. We are a humble family, and our needs are groceries and corn. We continue being members of the Catholic Church, and we attend the mass on Wednesday and Sunday. We already accepted Jesus in our hearts.

I am healthy, and I am 13 years old now. I passed to 7th grade, and I prefer face-to-face classes because I learn better the lessons. My parents have other expenses, so it has been hard for them to support me with my studies. I want to become a policeman, and I would like to learn Quiche dialect and English language. I like playing soccer, and I love drinking Coca-Cola. I enjoy a cake and a delicious lunch for my birthday. My favorite season is summer because of the hot weather. Living Water is very important to me, and I am blessed with food twice a week at the feeding program. I hope to hear from you soon.

All the best
