My Story

First, thank you so much for taking the time to read my letter. My name is Juan Carlos, and I hope you are having a fantastic day. I live with my biological parents and two siblings. We attend the Catholic Church on Sundays. Fortunately, we are healthy. My father, Jose Tiniguar, is 56 years old. He makes a living by selling assorted products to support our family. My mother, Juana de la Cruz, is 51 years old. She keeps busy doing the household chores. Nowadays, everything is expensive. We need groceries at home. Fortunately, I am part of the feeding program. It has been a meaningful project in my community. We have received spiritual and material help. We raise cows, pigs, and hens to sell when they are older. Besides that, we harvest lemon and corn for our consumption.

My biggest dream is to become an agronomist when I am older. I am fourteen years old and I am doing my best at school as an eighth grader. I prefer to receive face-to-face classes because teaching is better. Fortunately, my father’s business is going well, so he has been able to cover my school equipment. Christmas is the most awaited time for everybody. I enjoy celebrating it by burning firecrackers. I love drinking water and playing soccer. I would love to learn a new language like English. I hope to accomplish it in the future. My birthday was in April. What I enjoy the most is eating a delicious cake to celebrate with my family. To end this letter, I want you to know that a teacher of the LW evangelism team spoke with my mother to share the gospel and collect all this information for you. I say goodbye to you for now, but I wish you many blessings and success in everything you do.

Lots of love,

Juan Carlos Tiniguar de la Cruz
