My Story

Hello! How are you? I hope you are doing well. My name is Yosselin Nicol, and I am 16 years old now. I am writing this to tell you about my life and family. I live with my mother and stepfather; thankfully, they are in good health. My mother’s name is Juana, and she is 31 years old. She works hard at home and sometimes does the laundry of others to help with the income. My stepfather’s name is Miguel, and he is 34 years old. He works in a carpentry workshop to support the family. We are grateful to God for His daily provision. We are members of Prince of Peace Church, and we attend the services twice a week. LW Evangelism team has shared the gospel with us and encouraged us to continue seeking God. We raise hens, and we sometimes sell some of them. We grow corn and black beans for our consumption.

I am healthy, and I am in 9^th grade; I learn more now that I am attending school in person. There are times that my stepfather does not have much work, and it is difficult for him to cover our needs including my school expenses. I want to become a nurse when I am older, and I would like to learn the English language. I love celebrating and sharing a snack with my family when it is my birthday. I like drinking apple shakes and playing basketball. My favorite season is winter because the countryside blooms, and the crops look beautiful. I have been supported in a big way through Living Water, and I feel so blessed for that. I say goodbye to you for now hoping to hear from you soon.
