My Story

This is Quebelin Rocio Sarmiento Cabrera, and I am writing this to update my 2023 information. First, I will tell you about my family. We are still members of the Catholic Church, and we attend the mass on Monday. We have accepted Jesus in our hearts, and we are assured of our salvation. We do not have crops like other families since we do not have a piece of land to sow. We are a humble family, and our greatest needs are groceries. My father’s name is Victor, and he is 55 years old. Sadly, he abandoned us at the end of the last year, and we have not had any type of communication with him. My mother’s name is Elsa, and she is 50 years old. She works hard at home. One of my brothers is in the United States, and he is the one who is supporting us. I want to ask you to pray for us because we have to leave the house that we are renting, and we do not have a place to go; please join us in prayer.

Now let me tell you a little about myself. I am 26 years old, and I am healthy. I am working as a day laborer. I want to work hard in order to have my own house. My favorite season is summer because the weather is not cold and we do not get sick. I like receiving a cake or eating a delicious lunch when it is my birthday. I prefer soccer as a sport, and I love drinking papaya juice. I want to improve my Quiche dialect since I speak Spanish as my first language. Living Water has been a source of blessing for my family, and we are grateful for that. I hope to hear from you soon.
