My Story

It is a pleasure to greet you and your loved ones. My name is Glendy Noemi Barrera Morente. I am 15 years old, and I am not currently in school. During the week I help with the household chores or in the farms. Unfortunately, my father, Agustin Barrera, abandoned my family many years ago. My mother, Patricia Morente Simaj, passed away several months ago from diabetes and high blood pressure. My older sisters take care of me now. I enjoy going to the feeding program each week and eating a delicious meal. My favorite food that they serve at the feeding program is the fried chicken. I also really enjoy the end of year Christmas celebration at the feeding program.

 I tell you that Living Water has greatly blessed my family with the meal they provide weekly. At home, we raise chickens and sell them to help support our family. As a family, we attend the Prince of Peace church. My older sister is secure of her salvation. I pray that you are doing well, and I hope that you will pray for my family, and a stable job to help us economically. Thank you for taking the time to read about me today.
