Hello! My full name is Maria Roxanna Coj Morente, and I am so happy to write this letter to you. I hope you are having a lovely day. By the grace of the Lord, I am a healthy 13-year-old girl. I did not attend school this year because I did not want to continue studying. I use my free time to help my mom with the household chores like shepherding my family’s cows and sheep. We also raise hens for our consumption or occasional sales. Fortunately, we have enough space at home to grow our own corn and beans. Let me tell you that my parents are doing well. My father works as a day laborer and my mom keeps busy with the housework. We have attended the Catholic Church for many years. I am thankful for my mom's perseverance in her faith. Today, she collaborates with the church's leadership board by doing different tasks.
I want to use this opportunity to tell you that LW has helped my family and me in many different ways. For instance, a teacher of the evangelism team congratulated my mom and me for being sure about our salvation. I welcomed Jesus into my heart one year ago. On the other hand, my mom did it about 15 years ago. LW-Adopt A Child has also blessed me with food. I feel really excited when the staff prepares and serves fried chicken for lunch at the feeding program. I like celebrating Christmas there because of the nice gifts and engaging choreographies. I say goodbye for now, but thank you so much for reading my information. See you later!
Affectionately,
Maria Roxanna Coj Morente
