My Story

Hello! How are you? I am Irma Yadira Ruiz Luis, and it is a great blessing to greet you through this means. First let me tell you about our spiritual life. We are members of Prince of Peace Pentecostal Church, and we attend the service on Thursday and Sunday. We are assured of our Salvation. We are a humble family, and our frequent needs are groceries like corn. We raise chicks, pigs, hens and turkeys for selling. My father’s name is Marcelo, and he is 49 years old. He works as a day laborer, and on Thursday and Sunday, he works for the local municipality; he is in charge of charging a tax to people who want to access our town. My mother’s name is Margarita, and she is 46 years old. She works as a weaver and looks after our domestic animals. Thankfully, my both parents are healthy.

I have personal dreams and tastes. I want to become a merchant when I am older. I love to swim, and I like drinking lemonade. My favorite year’s celebration is Christmas because we prepare “tamales and ponche”. I get happy when it is my birthday, and I share good moments with my family. I am healthy, and I am 15 years old. I keep embroidering napkins for selling. Living Water is very important in my life because I have been blessed with lunches and medicine through the feeding program.
