It is a beautiful day to greet you and I hope you are doing well. My name is Maria Adriana Calachij Cortez. I will turn 16 years old in September of this year. We are attending Prince of Peace Church. We have a day to celebrate the Pastor´s day and we pray and give thanks to God for our pastor. I appreciate the encouraging words that the evangelism teacher gave us to continue attending church. Jesus is my savior. My dad is still working in Guatemala City; he puts tomatoes in boxes. He keeps in touch with us and sends us monthly support. He only visits us once in a while due to the distance and the costs of the trip. 

I usually help my grandma with the housework. I love my grandma; she is so kind and we spend most of the time together. I have a friend named Maria; we have been friends for a year. We like to chat when we get together. I recognize Jesus is my savior. Let me tell you that some time ago, I got sick and my family was worried about me. Fortunately, God healed me, and I am sure he never left me alone. Now, my family and I are in good health. Fortunately, my grandparents are taking care of my siblings and me since my father works away from us. They administrate the money that my father sends. I would like you to know that I personally shared this information with an evangelism teacher to update you about me. I appreciate you taking the time to read my letter.
