My Story

Hello! My full name is Yolanda Leticia Grave Gutierrez, and I am glad to share a little about my life with you. I am a healthy 15-year-old girl. I am dedicated to embroidering blouses and napkins to help my family a little economically. On my days off, I usually shepherd the sheep alongside my best friend, Maria. I met her about two years ago. I want you to know that my father works hard as a farmer in our village. He also travels to the coast and works by picking coffee beans for two months to earn extra money. On the other hand, my mother keeps busy doing the chores. She is teaching me how I should help her with them. She is under treatment because she was diagnosed with stress-induced gastritis.

At the beginning, my siblings and I got sad and discouraged about her health. However, we remembered that Jesus can heal. So, we pray for my mother’s healing. We attend a Christian Church called Life Christian. My heart is overjoyed because one of my brothers has the privilege of singing during services.
