My Story

Hello! I greet you cordially and hope you are doing fine alongside your loved ones. I want to share a little about my family and me in this opportunity. My mother`s name is Tomasa De La Cruz Gutierrez. She is 46 years old. At the moment, she continues doing chores at home and embroidering typical clothes to sell and get some income. In addition, she raises some sheep to sell too. As you know, my father abandoned the family 8 years ago. So, my mother is the only one that supports us financially. As a humble family, our current needs are groceries and clothes. At the moment, we continue attending the King of the Centuries Church every Wednesday. We are grateful to the LW evangelism team for their encouraging words to us during the visit. So, we have Jesus in our hearts. Thank God, my family and I are in good health.

I am Hilda Elizabeth Ruiz De La Cruz. I am 19 years old. As you know, I have not studied for some years, but I help my mother with chores at home.  My dream is to become a maid. My favorite season of the year is summer because I like to go out with my family and take advantage of the warm weather. My native language is the Quiche Mayan dialect, so I would like to learn Spanish in order to have good communication with others. I like to drink soft drinks. I do not celebrate my birthday because of a lack of economic resources. Among sports, I like to play soccer. My family is grateful to Living Water because I receive the meals, medical and dental attention, and spiritual support. I want to say thank you for the Christmas gift that you sent to me at the end of the year through LW.  May God bless you!
