Hello! I greet you in the name of our Lord Jesus and I hope you have a blessed day. I want to share a little about my family and me in this opportunity. My mother`s name is Tomasa De La Cruz Gutierrez. She is 46 years old. At the moment, she continues doing chores at home and embroidering typical clothes to sell and get some income. In addition, she raises some sheep to sell too. As you know, my father did not recognize me legally and he abandoned the family 8 years ago. So, my mother is the only one that supports us financially. As a humble family, our current needs are groceries and clothes. At the moment, we continue attending the King of the Centuries Church every Wednesday. We are grateful to the LW evangelism team for their encouraging words to us during the visit. So, we have Jesus in our hearts. Thank God, my family and I are in good health.
I am Isabela De La Cruz Gutierrez. I am 23 years old. As you know, I have not studied for some years, but I help my mother with chores at home. My dream is to improve my skills as a soloist. My favorite celebration of the year is Christmas because I like to eat “tamales” (a typical dish) and share them with my family. My native language is the Quiche Mayan dialect, so I would like to learn Spanish in order to have good communication with others. I like to drink “mosh” (a hot drink made of oatmeal). I do not celebrate my birthday because of a lack of economic resources. My family is grateful to Living Water because I receive the meals, medical and dental attention, and spiritual support. I want to say thank you for the Christmas gift that you sent to me at the end of the year through LW and also for everything you have done for me. May God bless you!
Kisses and hugs,
Isabela De La Cruz Gutierrez
