My Story

Good morning! My full name is Santa Odilia Garcia Quino, and I feel blessed to tell you that I was registered in the Feeding Program fifteen years ago. My mother is thankful for the medical support and the plate of hot and delicious meals that I get in the Project along with my siblings and many children in need. I enjoy attending the Bible classes because I like to pray there.

I am twenty years old and I help to make tortillas and do laundry at home. My favorite weather is cold because I love to feel comfortable. I live with my mother because my father as you know, he continues working in the United States. Nowadays, he is a farmer and he works hard to cover our needs as a farmer. My mother also contributes to the home expenses when she sells the hens she raises. She also dedicates her time to the family and household chores. We have communication with my father always, and he also sends money every month. I am thankful to God because my parents are in good health.

We are believers, and we continue persevering in the Prince of Peace Christian Church. We enjoy learning about the word of God, and we try to be good people. We are secure in our salvation in Jesus because we have him in our hearts. My mother gave this information to the LW teacher, and she would like to ask for your prayers for health for our whole family and also for my father`s life because he lives away from us.
