My Story

I hope you are doing great! I was thinking about you today and wanted to send you a big hug in this letter. I have so many things to tell you! Warm regards from Jessica Heisel Concepcion Tunay Ortiz. I turned 18, which is the age of majority here in Guatemala. This year, I started my professional career to be an accountant and I am in 10^th grade. It makes me so happy. I have been part of the feeding program for 11 years. The thing I like most is the Biblical Orientation. I am a healthy girl. During the afternoons, I help my mother to make tortillas and take care of my siblings. I will tell you something interesting about our Country,: we only have two seasons here, winter and summer, and my favorite season is winter because I love the cold.

I am very proud of my mom because she is the only one who supports our family, and I appreciate everything she does for us. Thank God, my family is in good health. My mother makes a living making tortillas to sell. My mother is grateful to have her children in the feeding program and they bless us. She prays that God will bless each one of you every day for giving your best. We appreciate that the evangelism teachers share the gospel with us. My family attends the Catholic Church called “San Pablo”. I would like to ask for your prayers for God to continue blessing our family.
