This is Ashly Nicol, and I am so happy to share a little about my life with you through this letter. I live with my parents and two siblings; their names are Candy and Juan. At the moment, we do not attend any church. My mother is Rosa Morales, and she is 38 years old. She works as a domestic employee to help with the expenses. Fortunately, her health is good. My oldest brother Juan is also working to help with his income at home. He makes a living as a deliveryman in a drugstore called “Cruz Verde”. My father is a mason, but he is not working. Sadly, he has pneumonia, and because of that, he has been in the hospital since April 18th. Therefore, I would like to count on your prayers for his recovery. Besides this, I also would like to ask for your prayers for my whole family since our economic situation is bad. Our basic needs are food, shoes, and school supplies for my younger sister Candy and me.
I am fourteen years old, and my biggest dream is to become a lawyer. Fortunately, I am healthy, and I attend school as a seventh grader. I like attending school because I understand the lessons so much better. If someday I could learn a new language, I would choose English. My favorite holiday is Christmas because I can spend that lovely time with my friends. I like drinking Coca-Cola, and my favorite sport is soccer. My birthday was in August. If my parents have enough economic resources, they buy a delicious cake to celebrate my day. Now, I want to tell you LW has been an enormous support for my family, so we are grateful. Thank you so much for reading my news! I say goodbye to you for now, but I wish you the best wherever you are.
Sincerely yours,
Ashly Nicol Hernandez Morales
