My Story

Special regards from Nueva Esperanza, Guatemala! I am so happy for having the opportunity to share a little about my life with you through this letter. I am Nataly Susana Abigail Cuin Tzoc and I am 14 years old. I am a healthy teenager and I prefer cold weather rather than hot. I have attended the feeding program for about eight years. What I like the most about receiving Bible lessons is learning more about God. My parents are deeply grateful for the love and blessings that I have received there. They pray that God continues blessing LW-Adopt A Child so that the staff can be able to continue with God’s work. I live with my parents and older siblings. They work hard to cover the essentials for our family, such as food and the rent of our house. My father is doing well and works hard by carrying heavy packages at the market. He also works as a clerk at a grocery store, while my mother works by doing the cleaning for others. She often suffers from pain in her knees, but she has not gone to the doctor because of a lack of financial resources.

We have passed through a hard economic situation, which did not allow my parents to cover my education for this year. I would like to continue studying, but I know that I should look for a job and strive in order to cover everything that I need for school by myself. About my spiritual life, I tell you that my family and I are members of a Christian Church called King of the Centuries, and our favorite part of the service is the worship time since the songs are beautiful. I want you to know that brother Juan Carlos (a member of the LW staff) recently shared the gospel with my mother as an encouragement to continue loving and serving God. My mother has assurance of her salvation because Jesus forgave her when she accepted him in her heart. This is all for now, but I kindly ask you to pray for provision and help for my whole family. In advance, thank you so much!

Sincerely yours,

Nataly Susana Abigail Cuin Tzoc
