It is such a great pleasure to greet you by means of this letter. My full name is Glenda Yanet Ruano Malta, and I am 13 years old. I tell you that I have attended the feeding program for more than ten years. I enjoy listening to new bible stories before having my meals. LW-Adopt A Child has been a blessing for many children like me, so my family and I wish you all the best. May God bless richly all the people who make the work of this organization possible! By the grace of the Lord, I am a healthy girl. I am in 7th grade at school and I usually help my mother to do some household chores like mopping and doing the dishes. I would like to take part in the chorus group at my church. My family and I attend a Catholic Church called Mary Helper of Christians. The unity and fraternity motivate us to attend there. Recently, brother Juan Carlos (a member of the LW staff) shared the gospel and talked with my mother about Heaven. She was grateful for his encouraging words and the time dedicated to her spiritual well-being.
She was glad to receive the beautiful message about how to follow Jesus. She took advantage of that opportunity to ask him to pray for our health and work. As a single parent, she strives to support our family. She is healthy and makes a living as a housekeeper. Besides that, she continues selling beauty products by catalog. About my father, let me tell you that his health situation got worst. He has suffered from sleep paralysis for a long time and due to that, he is under medication most of the time. Being sedated is also included in his prescription since he is unable to sleep. Therefore, I beg you to pray for him. He is retired and helps me with a little money to cover my school expenses or whatever I need. This is all for now, but I appreciate that you took the time to learn a little about me. Until next time!
With much love,
Glenda Yanet Ruano Malta
