My Story

Hello! I wish you are having a blessed day and I hope you are fine. Praise the Lord my family and I attend Mountain of Holiness Church; we go on Sundays. My family and I are in good health, thanks to the Lord. My mother is Alma Alondra Barrera, and she is 38 years old. She works hard to supply the family needs; she works as a nurse. Unfortunately, my father did not want to help us so, my mother decided to separate from him. So, he no longer lives with us anymore. My father is Alfonso Danilo Perez, and he is 41 years old. He works as a bricklayer and helps us when he wants and is not too much.

My name is Abner Eliseo Perez Barrera, and I am 15 years old. I was in 8^th grade this year; my classes were at school and it helped a lot my learning. Since my mother is the only one who supplies the home and school expenses, this year was hard for her due to a lack of resources; nowadays, school supplies are very expensive. I like mathematics and I want to continue with my studies to become a mathematics teacher someday. Let me tell you, the languages that catches my attention are English and French, so I want to learn it. I love the Christmas season; I am on holiday and I enjoy the chilly days. On my birthday, if my mother has resources, she buys a cake to celebrate with me. I like sodas, especially Coca-cola which is my favorite one. Football is the sport I like the most. Being part of the feeding program has blessed my life, the material and spiritual support are so helpful for me and as well to my family. At home, our top priorities are groceries, footwear, clothes, a bed and school supplies. I say goodbye to you for now and I hope to receive news from you soon. Many and abundant blessings on you!
