My Story

I greet you with much love, hoping you are doing well. I am Julio Diego Enrique Maas Alonzo, and I feel blessed to write you this letter. First, I will tell you about my parents. Sadly, my father passed away many years ago; his name was Carlos. My mother’s name is Iris, and she is 45 years old. She is in good health, and she works as a street vendor; she sells whatever she can like cookies, clothes, etc. We are a humble family, and at the moment, our needs are groceries, shoes and school supplies. We are still members of Restoration Church, and we attend services from Monday to Thursday. I have two rabbits and six cats as pets.

I am healthy, and I am 17 years old. I am in 10^th grade now, and it is the first year of my professional career; it is a training in computing. I prefer face-to-face classes because I pay more attention, and I can see my friends. My mother is the only one who supports me with my studies, and sometimes, she does not have money for what is requested at my school; it is a difficult situation for her. I want to become a sailor when I am older, and I would like to learn English someday. I love Christmas time because I can see my relatives and I am on vacation. I enjoy a delicious lunch prepared by mother for my birthday. My favorite drink is peach tea. Living Water has always been a great blessing for me, and I have no words to express my gratitude for it.
