My Story

It is such a blessing to write this letter to share with you some of my news. Before starting, I thank you so much for reading my information. I am Christopher Alexander Quinonez Najera and I am 16 years old. I am in sixth grade and I have had the opportunity to attend the feeding program for about ten years. I want to take advantage of this opportunity to express my gratitude to LW-Adopt A Child for preparing the meals and for the time they dedicate to serve. May God bless you all! Thankfully, I am in good health. To contribute to the household chores, I usually clean my bedroom, sweep the floor, and wash the dishes. As you remember, my brother and I have lived under the care of our aunt and uncle after my mother passed away. They work hard to support our needs, so I kindly ask you to pray for them so that God continues blessing them. My aunt works as a domestic employee and keeps doing well, thanks to the treatment that she takes to control diabetes.

My uncle is doing well and makes a living as a security guard. My biological father never lived with us, but he recently started to support us financially. He makes a living as an Uber driver and sends us money every two or three months. Fortunately, he is doing well and keeps in touch with us. About my spiritual life, I tell you that I like attending the catechesis and I would like to become an altar boy again. My family and I are members of the Catholic Church and what motivates us to keep going are the Bible teaching and stories, but especially receiving the Holy Supper. If we want to get into Heaven, we believe that we must walk by God's way and listen to his voice. Sister Raquel (a member of the LW staff) recently talked with my cousin and me about our salvation and advised us to continue building our relationship with God by means of prayer. To end this letter, I kindly ask you to pray for my grandmother because she has not been doing well. In advance, thank you so much!
