My Story

I greet you in the name of Jesus and hoping you are doing fine alongside your loved ones. I want to share with you some news about my family and me. This is Joan Rene Sut Teret and my age is 16 years old. At the moment, we are attending church. Thank you to the Living Water evangelism team who shared the gospel with us. My mother`s name is Celeste Teret and she is 40 years old. Currently, she continues working in the corn mill that we have at home. My father’s name is Rene Sut and he is 44 years old. Currently, he continues working in his plant nursery. Thankfully, all my family and I are in good health.

This year, as you know I am not studying, but I am helping and working in my father’s plant nursery and corn mill. We are five siblings, and for my parents, it is hard to support us with school fees. Nowadays, school fees are so expensive, and because they do not have a stable job, sometimes it is difficult to cover all expenses. When I am older, I want to become a baker. Most of the people in my town speak Spanish, but I would like to learn the German language. My favorite season of the year is summer because the weather is perfect for going for a walk. I love to drink Coca-Cola and Pepsi-Cola. We have cats and a dog as a pet at home. What I like for my birthday is to eat a delicious cake, “tamales” (a typical dish) and I love to have “piñatas” (a special kind of puppets full of sweets). Among sports, I prefer to play football. My family is very grateful to Living Water because we have been blessed with meals, dental and medical clinics, and spiritual support. Thank you for the Christmas gifts that I receive at the end of the year. As a big and humble family, our priority needs are groceries. I hope you enjoy reading my letter.

May God bless you! Warm wishes,

Junior Rene Sut Teret
