Hello! It is a pleasure to send you many greetings and hugs. I am so excited to write this letter and share a little about my family and me. I live with my father, mother and siblings. My father works in a rose plant nursery. My mother tends her own small grocery store. My siblings and I help her. I am in third grade and my favorite subject is mathematics. Thank God, my family and I are healthy. At the moment I do not work but I help my mother in the kitchen. When I grow up I would like to be a doctor, then be able to help sick people. In my free time, I enjoy playing hide-and-seek, tag or other interesting games with my siblings. My father leaves early in the morning for his job, but I do not know where his job is. My older sister works picking coffee beans in San Sebastian farm. My other siblings and I attend school. Thank goodness I am not repeating my grade. Last year in December my family and I went to the San Jose beach it is located in Escuintla which is in another department of Guatemala. We ate chicken stew and drank soda.
We took a bath in the sea, it was a wonderful experience. In my free time I do my homework and then I watch TV. My dream is to learn how to play the National music instrument “La Marimba”. Please, pray for my dreams and that someday it can come true. At the moment my family and I do not attend church, most of the time my parents are busy. But I would like to attend church someday. For now, I am learning about God´s Word in the feeding program. I want to ask for your prayers for my parents because they argue a lot and that situation makes me feel sad. When that happens my siblings and I go to my grandmother´s house. My mother helps my father with the income with the money that she earns in the store. I will visit Doctor Patty in the clinics from the feeding program for some vitamins and she assesses me. I say good bye to you for now, but I send you a huge hug. May God bless you in everything you do!
Lots of hugs
