My Story

I fondly greet you from Guatemala, hoping you enjoy reading my updated information. I am Kevin Josue Garcia Quexel, and thanks to many good-hearted people like you, I have had the opportunity to enjoy delicious meals at the feeding program for about twelve years. My family and I pray for this organization continues helping children and teenagers in need like me since all the benefits they provide are a great blessing. I am 17 years old and I am pleased to tell you that I am in my first year (10^th grade) of a professional career to become a mechanic. Before leaving home to go to school, I usually make my bed. I prefer hot weather rather than cold.

My family and feel motivated to attend the Catholic Church because we like taking part in the activities that our church organizes. They have helped us to pray more and be thankful to God for all his love and mercy. I tell you that sister Princesa (a member of the LW staff) recently shared the gospel with my mother to strengthen her faith in God and advised her to take care of her salvation, which I appreciate so much. Thanks to the loving care of our Lord, my whole family and I are in good health. My father works hard as farmer in our town, while my mother stays home and dedicates herself to our family. She also sells ornamental plants on the street to contribute to the expenses. This is all for now, but I kindly ask you to pray for my whole family and me so that God keeps us in good health.
