My Story

Hello, I am so excited to send my greetings in this opportunity and I trust in God you are doing great! This is Derik Emanuel Morales Popol. I am 15 years old. Fortunately, this year I returned to school and I am repeating 5th grade. Now, I am receiving my classes from 6:00 to 09:00 PM. I take advantage of the weekends to go out for a hike. Our pet is a cat. Since my mother is a single parent, she works hard to supply our needs. Now, she takes care of an elderly lady in our village to get income. My father abandoned us some years ago and we do not know anything about him.

The Christmas celebration in the feeding program is very special and I receive a gift which makes me so happy. I am so blessed to receive food and medicines through Living Water, it is so helpful for me and my mother´s economy. The food I love the most from the program is hamburger patties. I feel welcome in the program and I would like to join the team one day and serve. We are members of the Catholic Church; we have received Jesus into our hearts. We are fine at home; however, I would appreciate it if you could keep my family in your prayers for our daily provision. To end my letter, let me tell you that my mother gave this information to the LW team to update you about me. For now, that is all. Many and rich blessings over you!
