My Story

Many greetings from the beautiful Guatemala! I feel blessed to write this letter and tell you my latest news. I hope you find this letter engaging. I am Leidy Lorena Cuin De La Cruz. I am 13 years old, and I attend the sixth grade. I made a good friend at school a while ago. Her name is Mileydi. We usually gather to eat a snack and talk during recess. I want to share that I have learned at church that Jesus is Jehovah God. I am grateful to Him for helping me a lot to assimilate my grandmother’s death. She was my relative on my father’s side. I felt downhearted when she died, but I sought the Lord through prayer.

My family and I are members of the Methodist Rock of Salvation. We enjoy participating in Thanksgiving services and birthday parties at church. I am glad because my family and I are healthy. I identify with my mother the most because our physical features are similar. She keeps busy with the household chores, while my father works as a blacksmith.
