My Story

Hello! I greet you and send you many blessings through this letter. I am Donoban Enrique, and it is a pleasure for me to share a little bit of my life with you. I am twelve years old, but my thirteenth birthday will be in July. I live with my parents and four brothers. We are members of Full Gospel Church; we usually attend our services on Mondays. My parents strive so much to support the necessities of our large family. They are both 28 years old. My father is Noe, and he works as a helper of bricklayers. He brings my oldest brother to work with him. My mother is Magdalena, and she is a housewife. She also raises hens and turkeys to get extra income. My whole family and I are in good health, although my youngest brother, Elvis, suffers from allergies because of sun exposure or fatty food. I am in sixth grade and classes are face-to-face. I like this method because I learn more than studying at home.

Our economic situation is not good and most of our priority needs are food supplies, especially corn. The last one is expensive nowadays, so we would like to have a space to cultivate it to save resources. Therefore, I would like to ask for your prayers for us. I would like to be a mason when I am older to help my family financially. The best season of the year is Christmas. I love this time because my mother prepares tasty tamales (this is a typical dish). My favorite beverages are sodas, especially Pepsi. English catches my attention, so I would like to learn how to speak it someday. When I want to have fun, I like playing soccer. Finally, I want you to know that LW is a great blessing. My family and I are grateful for this project because I have received medical care thanks to the support of good-hearted people like you. In addition, a teacher of the Evangelism team of LW encouraged my mother and me to continue loving the Almighty; she shared the gospel with us and collected my news for you. Thank you so much for reading my information!

From the bottom of my heart,

Donoban Enrique Cac Mendez
