May the grace of the Lord be with you! This is Irma Yolanda Jorge Ortiz, and I am so happy to tell you my news through this letter. I am a healthy 14-year-old girl. What about you? I hope you are keeping well. I keep busy helping my mom with the household chores. On weekends, I enjoy painting and drawing. I also like embroidering typical clothes. I want to use this opportunity to express my gratitude to you for blessing me with food and medicine through LW-Adopt A Child. I feel so happy when the staff serves fried chicken for lunch. Christmastime is the most awaited time of the year. As you know, the LW staff organizes a Christmas party and gives a nice Christmas gift to many needy people like me. That is a great blessing and help for my family. May the Lord reward you for everything! 

I attend the Catholic Church alongside my whole family. Fortunately, nobody is sick at home. My father works as a farmer and day laborer in our village to afford food and other needs for our family. He also grows corn for our consumption. On the other hand, my mom is dedicated to caring for our family and raising a few domestic animals. We have hens and pigs for occasional sales. I am glad because my parents accepted Jesus into their hearts, so they are sure about their salvation. I will leave you now, but I send you many kisses and hugs.
