My Story

I greet you in the name of Jesus hoping you and yours are doing great! My name is Elvia Karina Ruiz Benito. I have only my mother´s last name because my father was in the United States when I was born. I am already 18 years old. At the moment, I stay at home and help to do the housework. My mother is a housewife. My father works both as a farmer and day laborer in our village; he does his best to sustain our family. Please pray for my parents’ health; my father is having a sun allergy and my mother is having headaches, but both are taking their medicines.

My parents accepted Jesus into their hearts a long time ago; we are members of the Catholic Church. We are grateful for the encouraging words given to us by the evangelism teacher to continue attending church. Let me tell you that I get so happy to celebrate Christmas in the feeding program; I receive a gift. I thank God for all the blessings I receive through Living Water; the meals and medicines mean a great help for me. The food that I love the most from the program is fried chicken. This time my mother gave this information to the evangelism staff to share news with you about me. That is all for now. Many and rich blessings over you!
