It is a great joy in my heart to greet you through this hoping our Lord is blessing you! My name is Marisol Hermelinda De La Cruz Ajqui. My age is 13 years old. I did not attend school in 2024 because we do not have enough income. So now, I stay at home and I help with the chores and go to help my mother in the field. I work as a day laborer on weekends. Thank God, my family and I are doing well. This time I want to open my heart and share news about my family; unfortunately, my father no longer lives with us because he has alcohol problems. We do not have any communication with him, so my mother is struggling to provide for my siblings and me. She works as a day laborer and raises and sells hens to get income. We do not grow anything since we do not have space for it. We do not have our own house. Thanks to God, a man who lives in the United States has loaned his house to us, and we do not pay for rent; it is so helpful for my family and me. My father used to work as a day laborer.
We are members of the Catholic Church and we appreciate that the evangelism teacher shared the gospel with us and invited us to accept Jesus as our savior. I would like you to remember my family on your prayers for provision and to continue staying well. Let me tell you that I am very happy to be part of the feeding program; my favorite part is Christmas. I receive a gift and they prepare a special activity with dramas. I am very grateful to Living Water for blessing me with tasty meals. The meal I love the most is fried chicken. Finally, let me tell you that my mom shared this information with the LW staff and I hope you like my letter. I hope to hear news from you very soon. Every kind of blessing over you!
Lot of love,
Marisol Hermelinda De La Cruz Ajqui
