My Story

Good morning! It is a great blessing for me to be part of the feeding program from Living Water. My name is Celso Israel Benito Calachij. I am 14 years old. My family and I attend a Catholic Church; we like to participate in the mass where the priest blesses the seeds that will be planted for the next crops. This time an LW member shared the gospel with my mom. She was glad for the encouraging words, and she trusts her salvation in God. My dad makes a living as a farmer and day laborer. Meanwhile my mom does the chores at home and grows veggies and herbs to sell in Zacualpa´s market. I like that my parents support each other to cover our home needs. By the grace of God, we are fine at home.

This year, I was registered in 3^rd grade and I was repeating my grade. However, I left the school. Now, I am working as a farmer or day laborer; I use the money to supply my personal needs. I admire my dad since he is a hard-working man. My parents are educating me the best way they can, and I am grateful for it. I thank God for my family and His faithfulness toward us, especially in my life. I recognize Jesus is the savior of the world and that He loves us endlessly. I would like you to know that my mom, Sabina, shared this information with an evangelism teacher to update you about me. I say goodbye to you for now, but I hope to hear news from you very soon.
