My Story

Hello! I hope from the bottom of my heart that you are in good health and receiving the Lord`s blessings with your loved ones. It is a pleasure for me to share with you some news about my family and me. I am Juana Cristina Gomez Ajqui and my age is 13 years old. This year I am not attending school, but I am working on a chicken farm in order to help my family. My native language is Maya Quiche, but I would like to learn English; I think it is a very interesting language in the modern world. When I grow up, I want to become a merchandiser. My favorite celebration of the year is Christmas because we light fireworks. Among sports, I prefer to play soccer. I like to drink Coca-Cola. What I like to have for my birthday is a delicious cake. I want to let you know that all my family and I are in good health. As a family, we are grateful to you and to Living Water because I receive the meals, medical and dental attention, and spiritual support. I want to say thank you for the Christmas gift that I receive at year`s end.

My mother`s name is Sabina Gomez Ajqui and she is 32 years old. At the moment, she earns a living by working on a chicken farm. We are a humble family, so our current needs are corn and groceries. At the moment, we are still attending the Liberty Church from LW every Tuesday. Thanks to the Living Water evangelism team who encouraged us to continue attending the church during the visit so that my grandmother said that we are sure of our salvation. I hope you like my letter. May God reward you in every area of your life!

Blessings and regards to you,

Juana Cristina Gomez Ajqui
