My Story

Dear Padrinos, how are you? I hope you are enjoying a wonderful and blessed year. I am sending my updated information and I hope you like to know more about my family and myself. My mother’s name is Guadalupe and she continues raising her hens, cows and sheep to sell and earn some money to help my father with home expenses. My father`s name is Agustin and he lives and works in the United States. Currently, he washes dishes in a restaurant and he sustains the family. He sends money and calls us every fifteen days. I admire him because of his manner. He is a patient man. I am thankful because my parents are doing well.

Jesus is my savior and he gave his life for everyone. As you know, we are attending the Church of Christ and we like to celebrate a special thanksgiving service in December. My sister Cecilia helped LW team to collect this information for you and they shared the gospel with her.

I am Alex Garcia Riz and I am studying the sixth grade. I am so happy because this is my last year of primary school and God is the only one that has helped me to reach my goals. I feel his love and presence in my life. My best friend`s name is Angel and we like to play football. We have been friends since we were children. I am a thirteen year old teenager and it was a pleasure to tell you my little story.  I hope it reaches you in the right time!
