My Story

It is a beautiful day to greet you through this letter. I am Ashly Gregoria Luis Gutierrez, and I am a 4-year-old girl. By the grace of God, we are in good health. Thankfully, we attend Assembly of God Church and go on Sundays. We are very thankful to LW team because they encouraged us to continue attending church; we appreciate the spiritual support. My father is Alberto, and he is 39 years old. He makes a living by working as a construction assistant. My mother is Maria, and she is 31 years old. She does the domestic chores and raises hens for selling to help my father with the income. Furthermore, we grow corn and black beans for our consumption.

Since I am still too young, I am not attending school. So, I spend my time playing with dolls and toy dishes. I enjoy playing on my birthday and sharing time with my family. Let me tell you, I like to drink juice of different fruit flavors. One of our traditions in Holy Week is eating bread, which is a very nice custom. I want to tell you that my native language is one Quiche dialect, and I can speak a little Spanish, but I would like to improve it. I am so grateful to Living Water who provides a dish of food for me and my siblings; it has been a big blessing for my family. Since we are a big family and do not have a good economy, our needs are food and firewood. I send hugs with much love. May God bless you wherever you are!
